1st of 3 for October?
Monday, October 4th, 2004October is here. It’s been 14 months since we moved to BC. a Year since Deli came to visit on his vacation. It sure doesn’t seem like it has been that long. I attribute it to the short snowy season here… the summers almost blend together, creating sort of a perpetual sprautumn, with a little summer in between. I did not go to the 2600 meeting this past friday. It is slowly becoming something i could almost not care about, with dwindling attendance and never any newcomers. I still have not tried putting up posters yet.. i really should give that a whirl and see if it brings anyone in. It looks like “computer club” is going to run again this fall up in Qualicum Bay. Last fall we had just one guy, who picked up HTML quite quickly. This fall i hope to have more students, and i hope to take a major detour. None of this web stuff. Time for some OpenGL or something! The main challenge is getting programming tools that will run on the windows boxes they have… I don’t of any Linux distros that run off a CD with which you can do OpenGL development ‘out of the box’. *sigh*.
