Is it the 12th of May already?! I am still out in Ontario, though it looks like I’ll be heading home (for a bit) soon. Haven’t done much besides work, though I did go to the 2600 meet on Friday, and I went bowling with KodeKrash last night. The factory in Orillia that flameout and I visited briefly has been demolished. I am kicking myself for not going inside when I had the chance. All the more reason to visit the Nanaimo Harbourfront Hotel (derelict cement structure)soon, before it gets restored or torn down!

Still on the Road

I left St. Louis on the 26th, after having spent a great Sunday just hanging out. I visited the Missouri Botanical Garden, which has a geodesic dome greenhouse, and the Anheuser Busch brewery, which had … free beer! So I headed directly to Great Falls, Montana, where I spent 4 days on the USAF Base Malmstrom. It wasn’t particularly exciting until day 4, when I took a short trip to Ulm Pishkum (aka Buffalo Jump), where i saw some wildlife up close, including a rattlesnake. On Friday I spent all day travelling to Toronto, and I’m now back at the main office in Orillia for a couple of weeks. I sure can’t wait to get back home and do some yard work!
