An Exercise In Futility

I would update more often than monthly, however, there isn’t much going on these days. I was in Ontario at the beginning of the month, for 2 weeks. There i took part in phase 1 of a beta software install - I will be going back again sometime in April to provide training. Work is quite busy, i am still wondering if i want to continue to be a career programmer, since it is beginning to become loathsome. Or maybe i just need a real office. After i returned from Ontario, I spent a couple of days with Jo and her sister. We went to Rathtrevor beach and Little Qualicum Falls. We also spent a weekend in Vancouver, where we checked out Lynn Canyon and Granville Island. The pool at the Hilton was “closed for the season”, which was quite disappointing. At the house, our tenant is moving out. In a roundabout way this means that we finally have the opportunity to fix some of the problems with our upstairs bathroom. Meanwhile, there are about 15 cubic metres of dirt to be moved across the back yard, by hand. That has been my March 2004, in a nutshell.
